Dosch Earns Certified Credit Union Executive Designation
09/12/2024
Congratulations to Zachary Dosch, Bismarck/Mandan Market President, on completing CUNA Management School, earning his Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation.
The CCUE designation demonstrates the highest level of aptitude in credit union leadership.
Over the course of three years, CCUEs have very comprehensive learning and training. Students learn advanced credit union management and operations techniques, how to understand and interpret financials, strategic planning, managements skills and credit union history. Allowing students to get a new perspective beyond the job they are working in and look at the full credit union picture. All training is done to prepare students to advance into higher executive roles while providing leadership that engages and motivates their entire staff.
Students must complete three exams, two projects, 90-page reports and an extensive oral presentation, all on the campus at the University of Wisconsin before receiving their CCUE designation.
“The program is a lot of work, but it’s worth it,” said Zack. He goes on to say “Everything we’re learning is very applicable. The more you know and understand, the better you can adjust, which can give your financial institution an advantage over the competition and deliver a superior member value. Without a doubt, CUNA Management School gave me a good foundation to better serve our employees and members.”
This year, 85 students graduated during a ceremony, following their final rounds of exams. It was there that Zack was awarded CCUE class honors.
Since its beginning, CUNA Management School has prepared more than 5,000 professionals to lead change within the credit union industry. It blends academic training with hands-on activities and projects to provide real-world applications to enhance their leadership. Learn more about CUNA Management School.
