86th Annual Meeting Held

FCCU held its 86th Annual Meeting on March 17, 2025. Speeches were given by our President/CEO, Steve Schmitz, Board President, Owen Olson and CFO, Sean Rinkenberger, with a crowd of around 100 members, board of directors and staff in attendance.
Attendees of the meeting received the 2024 Annual Report, which highlights activities, management, and financials of the last year for the Credit Union.

Three positions on FCCU's Board of Directors need to be filled. They are three year terms. This year, the three people who ran were incumbents, Owen Olson, Mark Watne and Doug Kalianoff. As directed by the by-laws, the vacancies were filled by acclamation at the Annual Meeting.
In his message, President Steve Schmitz stated, "After the rapid increases of interest rates experienced in 2022 and 2023, rates finally began a slow decline in September of 2024, with the Federal Reserve lowering short-term interest rates by 1% compared to when the year began." Steve also talked about how as our credit union continues to grow, each of us must grow as well, noting his appreciation to both the Board of Directors and our members as well.
