First Community Credit Union is sponsoring its annual Shred Day at several locations. These events are free and open to the public.

Spring Shred Event Dates

• Devils Lake - Monday, May 5th from 11 am- 1pm or until trucks are full.*
• Jamestown - Saturday, May 10th from 9 am – Noon until trucks are full. Located in Jamestown Main branch parking lot, 111 9th Street SW.*

During the week of May 5th-9th, secured bins for shredding will be available during lobby hours at the following branches:

In addition, during the week of May 5th-9th, drop off shred items will be accepted at Hankinson.

*FCCU will accept items until the truck or bins are full.

Shred Event Guidelines

Acceptable Items:

• Paper, regular and colored
• Staples
• Paper clips
• Envelopes

CDs will be accepted but they must be in a separate bin and are not able to be shredded on site.

Not accepted:

• Magazines
• Books
• Clasp envelopes
• Binder clips
• Hanging file folders (with the metal bars)
